Leipziger Messe, organiser of LAB 2007, has announced that over 80 percent of stand space in the exhibition has been reserved by organisations worldwide. LAB will take place from 2 - 4 October 2007 at ExCeL London International Conference and Exhibition Centre. Global companies such as Eppendorf, Buchi UK , Science Basic Solutions, Metrohm, Retsch and Plastiques Gosselin have signed up to the exhibition. There will also be stands representing brands such as Thermo Scientific, Fisher Scientific and VWR. The exhibition is aimed at manufacturers and users of analysis instruments in industry, research and development and public services. LAB's targeted 3,000 visitors, of which 1,500 will attend the conference, will include professionals from the pharmaceutical and chemical industries as well as the food and drink, medical, environmental and public service sectors. Clive Grantham is Group Managing Director at Metrohm UK, which is synonymous with ion analysis using the basic techniques of titration, Karl Fischer, ion chromatography and voltammetry. As an exhibitor attending the exhibition, Clive says: 'We are really looking forward to taking part in LAB As a company we find that trade shows are extremely rewarding in generating leads and providing direct contact with potential customers. The UK has not seen a successful laboratory show for nearly a decade, despite the high standards of exhibitors. The timing of LAB, at the end of the year, is ideal for a trade show, and we are confident that it will be a great success'. |
