Top London Financial Recruiter Discovers the Key to Keeping Staff |
15 Nov 2007 |
According to a poll conducted by top recruiters for finance and banking roles, FSS and sister company Crone Corkill who specialise in secretarial and office jobs, over 70% of people searching for jobs in the banking finance, accountancy and IT industries said they would stay in their current job if their employer offered an incentive. The majority of this percentage said they would stay in their finance role or accountancy job if offered a salary increase, while a smaller percentage would settle for a promotion in the financial sector. Paul Marsh, HR director at FSS commented that this was good news for many banking and financial or insurance companies as they need look no further than to develop their own staff to help reduce staff turnover. He advised companies in the finance and banking sectors to encourage their staff to speak up and for business and finance organisations to identify what their employees really want. He added that FSS conducts an annual employee satisfaction survey to assist in this process. |
