| Zip Specialties of Wheeling, Illinois has more than 30 years of experience in the promotional products and awards business. The company prides itself on meeting the needs of its customers, whether that need is for recognizing employees via awards or promoting a business with products advertising the company name. When a customer requested customized name badges, Zip Specialties decided to purchase a card printer and print them in-house rather than outsourcing the job. The company chose a Zebra P330i printer to do the job. Now, customized badges are another product Zip can offer customers. “This was a way for us to print a badge inexpensively without having to go through silk screening or anything else,” reports Bob Haskin, president of Zip Specialties. “We probably ran 2,000 or 3,000 cards last year.” The Zebra P330i is a single-sided, full-color plastic card printer/encoder that prints sharp, readable bar codes, ID photos, graphics and text, edge-to-edge, in just seconds. The P330i features Zebra’s revolutionary i-Series functionality, which simplifies card printing via automatic driver configuration, intelligent color optimization and a special RFID system for ribbon image counter and ribbon low notification. |
